ALTERNATORS

 

For all names mentioned above, there is a suitable alternator at BermanTec that we can offer you. Often, these are Prestolite products. A popular suggestion for Mercedes, Scania and DAF trucks is this 24V – 110A Prestolite Alternator AVI144S3001. Some of our newer alternators are the 861346 and 861390 models, used on Scania 94, 114 Series and the Volvo FH II series (after 2012 models) respectively.

The AVI147J3210HD (120A) alternator is part of Prestolite’s IdlePro 24V series. We also stock the upgrade to 190A version, to be found on our website here: Avi150J1116HP. 

For buses, this 24V, 155A alternator 1277A720 is applicable on MAN, Mercedes and Volvo vehicles.

STARTERS

 
 
Having the right starter for your buses, coaches and heavy-duty trucks protects the vehicle from system problems, such as low battery capacity and voltage spikes.

We supply original Mitsubishi starters, such as the M9T60672 and M9T80072, coming in a 24V–5.5kW or a 24V–7kW variety for Renault heavy-duty trucks. For other brands, Prestolite offers a diverse selection of 24V starters such as the brand new VM100R3501SE (7kW) & M105R3131AM (7.5kW) for the Mercedes MP4,  M90R3548AM with 6.6kW or the 860518 starter with 5,4kW power.

 

Prestolite also offers a diverse selection of starters, such as the 860305 with 6.7kW or the newer model 861385 starter for DAF LF45 and LF55 (after 2014 models).  

For buses, we stock the 860506GB 6.6kW starter or the 860508GB 5.4kW variant, used on MAN and Mercedes buses. For Dennis Elite 2 with Cummins ISBe engine, we also stock the powerful HM95R3011SE starter, also applicable for the Dennis ERF ES5 models.
