Introducing BermanTec’s Solenoids
powering innovation for over 50 years.

At BermanTec we offer solenoids from a wide range of recognized brands: Delco Remy, Elettrostart, Prestolite, Nikko, Cole Hersee and many others. Our solenoids can be used on anything from smaller vehicles to large, heavy-duty machinery. View our full solenoid catalogue here.

Cole Hersee solenoids have a rich heritage of excellence in the field of electrical and electronic switching. We often sell these solenoids for their strong construction, longevity, and precise functionality. Cole Hersee solenoids provide dependable solutions for demanding environments, ensuring optimal performance and durability.

Elettrostart solenoids magnetic switches are commonly used for starting and stopping diesel engines and are available in 12 and 24-volt versions. The most common function is the on-off switch, available in 12V and 24V configurations. They are often used in short-term operations to control and interrupt the fuel supply of an engine. Our magnetic switches are widely used in shipping, for example, to operate bow thrusters, as well as in agriculture, industry, or other situations that require the highest reliability standards.

Other applications include door locking systems. We also offer various models for continuous operation, equipped with a second holding coil, allowing them to fix the piston in the end position.

Round electro holding magnets have a shallow magnetic field. This makes them particularly suitable for picking up, holding and unloading thin steel objects, up to 10 mm thick. A known problem when picking up thin sheets with a powerful electro holding magnet is a too deep magnetic field radiation which causes the system to pick up several sheets at once. The use of many small electromagnets prevents this.

The maximum shear force is approximately 1/4 of the maximum holding force.
