The Prestolite Handraulic Starter system uses a combination of pneumatic and hydraulic principles to store and release energy for starting the engine. The essential parts have high pressure hoses for connecting to each other. The starter has a mounting bracket which attaches to the free end of the engine. The engine dog has suitable adapter for the crankshaft.
