Inland navigation is an eco-friendly mode transportation amidst the vast sea of pollution caused by conventional methods like air and road transport. Alternators play an important role in the smooth operation of vessels during inland navigation. Our range of alternators is designed to meet the demanding needs of marine transportation. BermanTec’s Marine alternator supply program consists of a wide range of powerful alternators from 150A to 600A. Our catalogue consists of more than 50 international brands, amongst them popular brands for marine applications like Prestolite and Delstar.
As official distributors of Prestolite in the Europe, the following models are a common choice for inland vessels. Prestolite 8SC3160V (24V / 150A), with insulated return and internal regulator is a reliable powerhouse, capable of sustaining consistent performance even under rigorous conditions. We sell a repair kit K183103997S for maintenance and upkeep. The Prestolite 8SC3157V (24V / 175A) J-180 model is engineered for efficiency. We also supply individual parts for replacement. Prestolite 66021638A (24V / 55A) is one of our most compact models, providing a steady supply of power, ideal for smaller vessels.
Additionally, our DelStar alternators boast brushless and insulated designs, ensuring durability and safety in operation. Some popular models are the 100-17202 (24V / 200A) and 100-17204 (24V / 240A), known for their reliability and performance excellence. They are compatible with Mastervolt and meet marine requirements for ignition protections on gas or diesel engines. The Wakespeed regulator also works with Delstar products to monitor alternator and battery temperatures and modify charging output for optimal performance.
Efficient starters are essential for the seamless ignition of marine engines, especially in the demanding environment of inland navigation. We offer both original and replacement models for marine starters, to ensure we can service the broadest range of engine brands and vessels.
DS-12 24V 50MT Starter (replacement) combines affordability with performance, ensuring smooth engine ignition, whether as an imitation or under the original Delco Remy number 10479339. Prestolite Starter M128R3838SE (24V, 12kW) is part of the M128 series, which is a replacement for the MS7 series, and is often used on Cummins and Caterpillar applications.
For MTU engines we recommend the S152 series, such as the following model, engineered for efficiency and durability: Prestolite Starter 1391012A 24V, 15kW.
