We’ve alluded to our new brand on Linkedin before (follow us here for more updates!), but with the number of requests we’ve received for the new SEG units we wanted to introduce some items from this powerful range here.
SEG, manufactured by the SEG Hildesheim factory in Germany, is a Bosch brand of heavy-duty starters and alternators. These heavy-duty components are engineered to match large engines from 25L to 300L, delivering a power range of 10kW to 25kW, for a wide range of industries – from mining and marine to construction and oil & gas applications.
The 0001608005 and 0001608003 SEG starters both have 24V – 15kW power (14 teeth – CW). One of SEG’s most powerful starter options is the SEG 0001613001 Starter, which has an output of 24V – 18kW. Below is an image of the SEG 0001613004, an OEM SEG model with an output of 24V – 18kW for MTU engines.
We also offer SEG alternators, used for Mercedes Benz, MTU, KHD Deutz, Yanmar and other applications. The 0126714002 alternator (12V – 180A) is a good example, used for heavy duty Mercedes vehicles.
