BermanTec Digest February 2022: Berman and Sesco partnership
2021 was a great year for us at BermanTec, and we’re looking forward to resume 2022 on the same foot. This year, we continue to expand our product line to supply our global customers in the marine, agricultural and construction industry with innovative and reliable brands. In this month’s company update, we’d like to introduce you to our new collaboration with SESCO in the latest products for industrial engines.
Promising partnership
We’re partnering with SESCO, who are one of the leading companies for industrial engines in the Netherlands. We’re proud to now be able to supply new product categories to the marine, offshore, Genset, power generation and data center industries, including heating equipment for industrial diesel and gas engines, as well as thermostatic valves and engine controls. Together with our partner, we will be able to serve our customers via several locations in the Netherlands and Germany: Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Straelen.

The use of Electric heaters for engine Coolant, Lube oil and Batteries is widely recognized as an essential way to provide reliable and clean engine performance.
Additionally, it also contributes to significantly lower engine wear and enhances performance.
In cooperation with SESCO, we now supply engine coolant heaters, space & battery heaters, engine block heaters and fuel & lube oil heaters.
Amongst the most popular coolant heaters are the 3kw to 12kw CSM and TR-12 large circulation heaters, Thermosiphon tank heaters in a wide range of wattages from 500 Watt up to 5000 Watt in many voltages, Single and 3 Phase.

Murphy level switches are widely known and used in many engine cooling systems, surge or expansion tanks and other systems to gauge the level of lube oil, hydraulic fluid or diesel fuel reservoirs. It provides an automatic alarm and shut-down function at a pre-set level to protect the engine from overheating through a lack of liquid. There are also models available (like the LM500) that can automatically replenish the oil as it’s used. Murphy level switches are easy to install, fit various applications and come with a Thumb-Valve to prevent fluid leakage. Our Murphy level switches can maintain oil level for engines of any size, and are therefore a sought-after product in the heavy-duty industries.
The ISOV valves provide emergency overspeed shutdown of diesel engines. Without these types of valves, a mechanical failure can cause severe damage to the engine.
Our ISOV valves are engineered to the highest standard and used on both onshore and offshore drilling, marine, mining and construction industries.
The thermostatic valves can direct the flow of fluids in engines based on pre-set temperatures. The element within (which activates a stainless steel sleeve to regulate flow) can be replaced. It’s compact, can operate in any position so it’s easy to install. There’s a wide variety of temperatures available for water and oil temperature control applications. We offer thermostatic valves rated up to 34.5 bar pressure, in sizes from ½” to 6”.
Also worth a mention is our ability to provide replacement elements for AMOT thermostatic valves at an affordable price.
