Nippon Denso: a top Japanese supplier
Nippon Denso, also simply known as Denso, is a public corporation founded in 1949 in Japan. Denso is owned for 25% by the Toyota Group, and is one of the four largest automotive parts suppliers in the world. As both an OEM and replacement parts provider, they are covering a wide area in the market.

Quick fact: Nippon simply means “Japan” in Japanese. Denso is a combination of the Japanese word for “electricity” (denki) and “device” (souchi)
Denso services both the light duty and heavy-duty vehicles. Known for their durable and compact devices, their appliances are used from pick-up trucks, SUVs to lift trucks, excavators and tractors. They offer alternator versions from 40 to 160 amperes, including a brushless variety, with internal or external fans.
This 24V, 150A Alternator 100-50240 is applicable on agricultural applications from Caterpillar. For John Deere and Case applications, we recommend the JNDA-23, in 12V, 35A, with an external fan. Denso also offers light duty alternators for cars and motorsports. The JNDA-93 and JNDA-45 are used on Honda and Land Rover vehicles as a perfect Denso replacements.

Denso starters have an improved cold start ability, starting up vehicles even in the coldest of temperatures. They are designed to prevent pinion and ring gear breakage for upgraded durability. Denso starters are often used for racing sports.
Denso’s heavy-duty starters are applicable for a range of agricultural and construction vehicles. This in-stock starter 028000-3971 is 12V, 4kW, with 10 teeth, used on John Deere model 6414D and 6414T. For Caterpillar, Denso offers this 7kW, 24V starter DSN2005.
